i like how everyone has individual double attacks, but when attacking the same unit the damage pop up and animation only comes off once and after the second hit, other than that the game seems to be taking shape, and the bot hit it other sometimes too

thanks for the feedback :). if i understand it right it would be better if: hit -> dmg animaition -> hit -> dmg aniamtion. if so its an easy thing to fix :). btw all the bots run the berserker ai that just runs to the closest guy and hit him with weapons.

yeah, if i remember right, in FFT that was how dual weapons worked, but i like you idea of all characters being able to dual wield, and also noticed some weapons have ranged attacks, so a melee and a ranged double hit seem very interesting

about the bots, yeah i imagined it was just a simple AI for testing, but it is funny to see how they have no priority on th enemy team

Its a great starting point. I noticed a few things after moving the cursor one space the map would shift to the left probably by 3 pixels? The variation you have in sprites is fantastic, and the menu profile outline is clean and easy to read. I would say upon pushing esc I personally would prefer it didn't take you back to the "status" menu select but as the game develops you might have more options there than just "status"

Overall, well done. I'd love to keep an eye on the project and see where it goes next.

Thanks for the Feedback! Ill look into the shifting problem.  As for the status: right now you can only attack and move.  Stuff like special abilities will come next
